My experience at Dr. Powell's office was very pleasent. Dr Powell was professional and welcoming and put my young son at ease . As far as the receptionist, I assume there has been a change from the previous reviews. The person my son and I encountered was a friendly young lady who went above and beyond to work with my schedule. The only reason for 4/5 is the the building is a little old and hard to find. I would reccomend.

The secretary at this office treated me with condescension and impatience. She failed to call me back when she said she would and seemed confused on a couple of occasions. I am actually looking into other local alternatives based on my intake experiences. Dr. Powell himself is fine. I don't really have anything positive or negative to say about my experience with him. He seemed professional enough. I would highly suggest finding a new secretary if you want to keep new patients though.

I would not recommend Dr. Powell to family and friends. While I can appreciate some things that he said to me, his lack of friendliness and the way we felt the hurry up from him would prevent me from returning. I spent a lot of money and wasn't able to get my questions answered because he hurried us out before I could ask the questions I wanted answered. There were no other patients waiting at that time.

I don't think I would recommend Dr. Powell to anyone, the visit was ok but he's NOT a friendly person, no welcoming feeling. As far as the staff, Nancy at the front desk was the WORST customer service experience I've ever had. I've worked in customer service (hospitality) over 10 years and I've never experience the rudeness I've experienced with Nancy. As they say you can't teach an old dog new tricks.
