It has been some time since i was a patient, but this deserves a review. I had a few sessions over the span of a few months with Ben. This was my first time to and first experience with face to face talk therapy. I was going through a lot of things at the time that i could not mentally work out on my own. I was received well at each appointment, a very friendly atmosphere. Ben was very direct, clear, and concise, helping me work through these thoughts, troubles, and confusions. I didn't give a 5 because there were some conversations where I felt they could have been delved into deeper but I was not necessarily prompted or felt the conversation was being steered in that direction. Otherwise, I definitely would recommend to anyone needing an understanding and patient therapist/counselor.

Ben was not a very good counselor. I went to one session and never went back. The thing that really irked me is that he doesn't listen very well. In one part of the conversation, he seemed to try the mirror technique and after I was done talking, he repeated the last part of it and that part had nothing to do with what I had said at all. The worst part about it is that he sounded shocked, almost to the point of disgust when what I said had I don't always bathe my kids every night, sometimes I bathe them in the morning or a wipe them down. I really hope that he learns to practice the mirroring technique by actively listening to people to identify the main point of what they said and his body language and mannerisms when he's talking to his clients. I would not recommend going to him for any counseling needs.

Excellent personalized counseling expertise. I feel very blessed to have found this provider who has been so instrumental in my progress and has tremendously improved my quality of life!

Dr. Ben is clear. Concise. I'm not there to waste my time and complain. I'm there to work on a situation and get better. He listens and gives a deliberate plan of action. He is calm and understanding while doing that. Absolutely recommend.

We recently started seeing Ben through a recommendation of another doctor. Ben is one of the most warm and welcoming individuals to talk to (in person or on the phone). Every time we walk out from one of his sessions we feel refreshed and ready to go on with our day. He puts things into clear perspective and provides reassuring guidance that there is hope. Thank you, Ben for being such an outstanding and professional counselor we've needed.

Ben Is geniuine which means he gives you sound guidance, helpful insights and tools to make your path back to the person you can be in life. That doesn’t mean he tells you what you always want to hear, but it is likely what you need to Hearn Great listener and he truly cares for his patients. Can’t recommend Ben highly enough.

Having gone through a pretty traumatic medical experience, Ben helped by listening patiently and advising how to cope with an emotional rollercoaster I've never experienced before. His demeanor exudes trust and caring for his patients. I found him upon a recommendation by my PCP. The best doctors I've come across all came recommended and Ben is one of them. I feel a hell of a lot better now because of Ben.

I’ve been a patient for 10 years. He is excellent. Always available if I need to talk. Wonderful, professional therapist.

He missed my appointment. When he returned my message, he was not apologetic instead asked me what I want to do. I was really in need to talk to someone, made an appointment came back from Talahassee early from holiday just because he agreed to see me. Don't see him and waste your time. Counselors are supposed to help not infuriate.

Ben has always been there for our family. He is very gentle/mild natured but to the point. My sons with diff. issues have been seeing him and he is not intimidating to teens. One of the most important things in therapy is the ability for the patients to open up and the therapist to listen and he has always done it with good professional advice, but not the coldness of being a medical professional.

Dr. Vzas listened and provided me with valuable information and resources to help me work thru a difficult time in my life. I am happier and healthier because of him.

Ben completely missed the asperger symptoms my daughter had and gave her advice that made her struggles worse. I don't feel he is well qualified. He was dismissive of our concerns and always rushed us out of his office in 45 minutes. I would not recommend him.
