Will not recommend him nor the clinic where he works. I took my son for just a school physical and end up with extra charges that were not cover by my insurance. Carmichael asked two irrelevant questions to my son and now i have a bill and the “manager” won’t return my calls

Poor bedside manner- Blaine thinks it’s acceptable to make jokes about his patient (my mother) to the nurse while patient is still present and furthermore, OUTSIDE OF A PRIVATE EXAM ROOM. We are appalled at the way Blaine Carmichael conducts himself, if he felt it acceptable to crack inappropriate jokes (stating that a patient is a leper for refusing a vaccine) then he should have chosen to be a comedian for a profession. This was the experience our 75yo mother had today. Needless to say, we are looking for a new Primary Care Physician or PA for her, just after one visit. In the meantime, let’s hope Carmichael will correct his condescending and unprofessional behavior .

Not fit to be in the medical field and definitely not being around patients . If I hadn't just got out of rehab I would have filed charges.

I went to see Dr. Carmichael because another provider, upon hearing some symptoms I was having, suggested I get tested for vitamin D deficiency. When I met Dr. Carmichael he tried to tell me the other provider had no idea what they were taking about. He also insinuated that my issues were related to my weight. After I insisted he ordered the tests. Turns out I had a severe vitamin D deficiency. Then I asked him about how I could address my weight issues and told him what weight loss meds I had been prescribed before by another doctor at that practice. He told me that the other doctor (his colleague) shouldn't have prescribed that and he offered another medication. I told him I would be interested if my insurance would cover it. I started the trial he gave me only to find out the meds were not covered by my insurance and over $1,500 retail! This doctor has belittled me when I've made suggestions or asked about the effect of my PTSD on my health, he blamed it all on my weight.

I have been seeing Mr. Carmichael for a few years now. He's always pleasant, professional and thorough. I switched to another provider due to an insurance change but gladly moved back once they started taking my insurance again. Wait times in the office are always reasonable - including for labs. I've never waited more than 15 minutes.

This man is no doctor!!! BE WARE this man gives good physicians a bad name. Not all doctors are like him so if u do see him and you feel like crap when you leave know that it is this man not you with the issues. I want to help relieve Any stress to anyone else that experiences this PA. He is rude, old and creepy. He needs to retire he caresless about people and acts like you are bothering him. He gives no good advice I actually would check his records I bet he printed his diplomas at home!

Dr. Carmichael has changed my outlook on life. I was diagnosed as a type 1 diabetic when I was three years old; over twenty years ago now. I was sick and tired of having to take care of it. He reinvigorated my motivation to be healthy. He has helped me lose twenty pounds in the past three or four months, he has done leaps and bounds for my healthcare, and he doesn't berate me. He doesn't just tell me to lose weight, he gives me the tools necessary to do so. I think he is the best doctor for me

He refused to acknowledge my condition, he belittled me, he was down right rude and disrespectful. He told me he would not give me a steroid shot. He told me I would have to wait for an hour after the shot and he wanted to go home, my ENT told me that wasn't true, as well as my personal experience of about 100 of these shots throughout my lifetime. I have sever sinus issues which lead to many other issues. He told me I would have to take the steroid pills and I am allergic to them. Jerk!

Not a very good provider in my mind. THe last time I was there he asked me why was I there when his office made the appnt. He does not think that I need an annual physical at age 72 for some reason. Not a very nice person to deal with.
