Bettina Willuhn, PA

Bettina Willuhn provided excellent care in general (did not even FEEL the Pap smear procedure), but she also guided my care through a troubling time where I had extremely high blood pressure. I am very grateful for her care.

Extremely disrespectful and uses intimidation. If you are struggling with your mental health, avoid at all costs because you will leave feeling disempowered, disoriented, and emotionally violated. Instead of meeting a patient with compassion, she provokes fear and makes threats. Condescending, short, and interrupts so that you cannot ask questions or speak for yourself. Lack of transparency about how and why her decisions are made. I received the opposite of help.

I was scheduled with Bettina instead of my regular doctor, and I have since called to make a note in my file to please never schedule me with her again. From the beginning of the appointment she was curt and condescending, speaking to me as if I were a child. When I asked a question to clarify for myself something she had indeed already covered, she answered, "I don't know if you heard me." I feel deeply disrespected and unheard by this PA. I do not recommend seeing her if it can at all be avoided, especially as the doctors in this practice are so wonderful.

Bettina has been my primary care doctor for over 10 years, and now my daughters are patients of hers. What I have always liked about Bettina is that she LISTENS! She is genuinely interested in what I have to say, takes the time to diagnose, talk through options, and make a plan. She is so kind and caring. I would highly recommend Bettina.

I've been a patient of Bettina's for almost 9 years. She is thoughtful, caring and incredibly good at her job. She takes the time to listen and has never once made me feel rushed or unimportant. I feel so confident in Bettina that I've referred multiple friends and colleagues and they all feel the same way.

I came in with my 13 year old daughter for a possible eating disorder and nutrition assessment and, an inherently delicate issue and Bettina blurted out "I dont usually take 13 year olds for eating disorders" tried to assess my daughter with me in the room, said 3 times that she had other patients, and twice how great she was, and that she was gong to refer us to therapy because I expressed concern about possible depression but not sure what was normal for teems. She cut me off thee times mid sentence. I removed my daughter from the appointment for her protection. She seemed curt, stressed and overbooked, I will never return and am filing a DORA report. Maybe too many people come to see her, and a re-eval is in order for medial burnout.

I've been seeing Bettina since moving to Boulder and have been so grateful for the amazing care she's provided to both me and my 3YO daughter. After relocating here I went through some incredibly difficult personal health issues and Bettina was utterly incredible at helping me through, including helping me get on a medication to ease the depression and anxiety I was facing. She's warm, authentic, and knowledgeable and I am deeply grateful for her. Could not recommend her more strongly!

Bettina is amazing. She is kind and upbeat, and she is patient, thorough and SPENDS TIME with you. You never feel rushed with her and you always feel like you are leaving better off than when you came in. She has a great med assistant, too. Highly recommend her for women, men and child care.

She checked on me after each procedure even though she wasn't involved in my direct care. Any time I have needed a spur of the moment appointment I have been able to get in the next day.
