Bethany Walters

I have been working with Dr. Walters for about 1 month now.I’m 34 and have had chronic issues since age 15.She is my sixth lifetime therapist and she’s the only one I’ve ever vibed with.While her empathetic manner and responsiveness are some of my favorite qualities, she is incredibly intelligent and fact and science based.On occasions, she has pulled out books and carefully giving me explanations to my pain, and been a solid fire extinguisher in this month of need I’ve had. She also referred me to a psychiatrist that I feel very lucky to have found as well.Dr. Walters has assisted me with my marriage communications and helped eased several burdens by communicating with my wife as well on what to expect in the coming months.Right now we are balancing meds and mostly talking through that, but she has a plan for me to start CBT when we can, and I am hopeful and excited.As a younger therapist, I feel I am able to connect without less of a generational divide.#grateful
