Dr. Sims singlehandedly got me through the postpartum period and beyond. I have tried speaking with many counselors in the past and none came close to the care and support Dr. Sims provided me. If you are suffering from any postpartum struggles, your first call should be to Dr. Sims. She is the most welcoming, compassionate and personable professional I have worked with.

If you have a postpartum mood disorder, do not see Benta Sims. Behind your back she will work towards having your baby removed from your care rather than work with you towards healing and getting the help you seek. Having her involved in my life has been emotionally and financially devastating, not to mention almost having lost custody of my child has it not been for investing tens of thousands of dollars in a legal battle that was entirely unnecessary.
