I came to Dr Pipko seeking help and I was treated with blatant disbelief and disrespect. He refused to provide treatment. When I insisted I was suffering he said I was wasting his time. Our appointment lasted less than ten minutes. This is not the first time that my unusual set of circumstances and symptoms have been met with such skepticism and I am sure it will not be the last. Nevertheless I cannot adequately express the hurt and pain that this has caused me. Doctors like Pipko have eroded my trust in the field of psychiatry. Every person who is suffering deserves to see a doctor who will hear what they say and believe them. The frequency with which I have met with similar situations is threatening to turn me away from seeking help. NO ONE should feel that they cannot seek help. Doctors please! Believe your patients. If you cannot believe what they are telling you, or you cannot help, ok….Just please please please, treat them with dignity and respect

I came in to see a different doctor but was assigned to him instead. He was rude from the beginning. He asked me when I was last prescribed my meds but apparently I guessed wrong. He just got up, called me a liar and refused to see me. Didn't allow for explanation or anything, just demanded I leave.
