Ashley Winblad, APRN

Ashley showed little compassion and had almost a confrontational approach when I visited Heartland Weightloss. She made assumptions about my weight gain and jumped to conclusions without asking me what was wrong. When I asked her genuine questions, she thought I was challenging her. She prefers to talk over listening or asking questions. Very difficult to interact with. Steer clear!

The provider lacks compassion. She is disrespectful, aggressive, and belligerent. She would benefit from additional training on how to work with patients. I will never return and urge others to avoid her.

I was scheduled to see Ashley after my primary care clinician had to cancel my appointment due to being sick. Ashley not only stepped into my care with full understanding and knowledge of my history, but, more importantly, with care and genuine concern. I will now start seeing Ashley for all of my healthcare needs. I've read some of these reviews and am shocked to read how mean some people can be. Trust me, I'll never see anyone else. Ashley is amazing, but more importantly, a truly caring person.

I have been seeing Ashley Winblad now for the past 4 years. She has not only helped me with acute needs but has been working with me in losing weight for the past year. In the past I would talk to my health care provider about losing weight and it was the same old advice of, "exercise and eat right." Ashley actually takes the time to help me understand what is healthy food and what is not, what types of exercise to engage in, and how to stay motivated. I will never see another clinician, Advent Health, if you lose Ashley, you'll also lose my entire family, we will follow her wherever she goes!

I saw Ashley Winblad, APRN, after my family physician of more than 15 years retired. Though I loved my family physician, I cannot give enough praise to Ashley. She is kind, caring, considerate, and spent more time with me than any other health care provider I have ever seen. I have read these comments about her attitude, let me tell you, those people are WRONG! Not only is she kind during the visit, I have had to reach out to her multiple times with questions and she has always responded to me with caring answers. If you are looking for a true primary care clinician, Ashley Winblad is a gem! I will never go anywhere else. Ashley, if you're reading this, THANK YOU!

I saw Ashley for obesity management, she was patient and attentive and listened to my concerns. She went through all of the available options, made recommendations and we created a plan to solve my problems I will definitely be back.

She is awful. Rude. Very rushed. Condescending. I never leave reviews, but I won’t ever see her again.

I saw Ashley for a sinus infection and she was able to see me right away. She was very kind and thorough. She explained in detail what to expect with my medications she was giving me and told me to call her if I wasn't feeling better. I started feeling better, but a week later I started to feel worse than I had when I first came to see her. She sent in another medication and the next day I felt soooooooooo much better .I highly recommend her

Awful experience. She barely spent a minute to look at me. She was rude and unprofessional do not go to her!

Ashley was very nice and caring. She listened to any concerns that I had. Very professional. I have seen her twice and would highly recommend her.

Ashley Winblad is impatient, condescending and extremely rude. She seems to lack any passion for truly caring for her patients. She wouldn't listen to my concerns, and became frustrated when I asked questions. She walked out in the middle of an appointment and said she wasn't listening any more and "dealing with this." It's challenging to find time for appts and experiences like this make me never want to see an NP/doctor again.

Horrid experience with Ashley. By far the worse medical professional that I have ever met. No concern, no bedside manner, rude and inconsiderate. Refused to help me with pain management just because I am allergic to a majority of pain medications due to my epilepsy. Will never go to her again.

Be cautious using this provider first i was accused of being an addict then was accused of selling my prescription drugs after only 2 appointments. Worst medical care I have ever received

I went to see Ashley Winblad for a minor issue. I felt she took the time to listen, understand my concerns, and prescribe a course of treatment that was right for me. I did not feel rushed at all. At the conclusion, she even took the time to walk me to the reception area.

An apathetic and unprofessional staff member. I have never dealt with a rude nurse or doctor before meeting her. I can only hope that someone who has a life threatening emergency does not recieve the same mistreatment that my family recieved from her.
