I was very broken when I reached out to Dr. Milspaw with a very difficult family situation during a divorce. It went south in a hurry and four years later I have absolutely no idea where my children are. Somewhere in Europe I think. I made the mistake of threatnening to write a bad review and she assumed I had created all of these reviews and retaliated in court. No. I didn't write any of them. I sat and took it. There is a pattern in these reviews and it isn't hard to spot. This is the one I wrote. The only one. She not only failed me but abused me in the process and I paid for the privilege. I came to her for help. Cruel is the word that comes to mind. Waited 4 years to write this. It has shaken out and it is a dumpster fire because of her involvment. The narcissist eventually revealed themselves in spectacular fashion but it is too late for any of us now. She needs to find another line of work. This was the worst therapy experience I could imagine.

More harm than help
Dr. Milspaw was engaged to help with family counseling through a divorce situation. She was biased and caused more emotional stress for my children than she relieved. She would try to charge for missed sessions that she initiated and we’re not confirmed. Thankfully, I found other good counselors for my kids. I could not recommend this person to help anybody.

This therapist should not be in practice. She is biased and gaslights her patients. She does not listen and does not respect boundaries. She also charges for every single instance of contact, including text messages and emails.

She will lie in reports. I'm currently seeking to have her license revoked for lying in a court-ordered report.

Dr. Milspaw is one of the most questionable & unprofessional psychologists I have ever worked with. Under, her previous employer, Beacon Psychological Associates, I was billed co-pays for visits that were fully covered by my insurance. Had I not checked my ‘Explanation of Benefits’, I would never have known, nor been refunded my money. Outside of her dirty financial practices, Dr. Milspaw has trouble objectively providing proper care for her patients & can be easily manipulated. Use caution!

Dr. Alshley Milspaw is an outstanding psychologist. My wife and I visited many therapists before we found her. She is understanding and empathetic, but she can also be firm when appropriate. She is very smart and yet also down to earth and approachable. We are lucky to have someone as skilled as her in our community.

Office environment is warm and inviting- I felt accepted and listened to without judgement... especially dealing with my crazy divorce and custody battle... I felt like I was understood for the first time. She stayed real with me while also helping me feel hopeful about the outlook of my situation. Highly recommended!
