Above and Beyond
My 94 year-old Mom had a problem with her left eye. Something had gotten into the eye, and it was irritated, oozing and nearly shut; my Mom was in real pain. She left a message with Dr. Katz late on a Friday afternoon. He returned her call Friday evening by voicemail because my elderly Mom didn’t answer his call. When my Mom didn’t return his call, Dr. Katz followed up on Saturday with yet another call to my Mom, finally reaching her. Even though Dr. Katz doesn’t have office hours on Saturday’s, he met my Mom at his office and spent about an hour and half cleaning out her eye. When I saw my Mom later that day, her left eye was so much better, and she was pain free. By the next day, her eye was 95%+ better. Problem solved. What doctor keeps calling you if he/she doesn’t hear from you, the patient? What doctor goes into the office to take care of you on his/her day off? This was above and beyond.

Dr. Katz helped me when I needed help. He gave me a through exam and found a problem in my eye. He sent me to a specialist and even got me an emergency appointment. I highly recommend him! What he did for me helped me so much. He went beyond the call!
