Linda is ABSOLUTELY the best!

Dr. V. was my psychologist for over almost all of my young adulthood (over 10-12 years). He helped me through some highly stressful periods in my life and enabled me to deal with what would otherwise have been a debilitating mental health condition. Without his patience and caring, I believe my situation would have deteriorated. He also seems highly intelligent, especially verbally. How many people know what the word pulchritudinous means without using a dictionary? I think this caring intelligent clinician makes the world a more pulchritudinous place.

Very disappointed in customer service provided here. Front desk personnel is very argumentative and got very loud with me (gasp) I requested to be contacted by Dr. Versteeg in regards to this issue and was refused . This person continually makes mistakes with my children’s account assigning someone’s else's children records to my phone number - clear violation of PERSONAL INFORMATION . She also faxed info stating my children aren’t even patients . We have been Dr. versteeg patients for three years . He is great but his staff - NEEDS TO GO ! Also there needs to be some type of way to schedule an appointment without calling and speaking to someone with less than ideal education and manners. Online scheduling is very much needed !

Yes the customer service sucks Linda needs training on how to deal with clients in a professional way her manners is not pleasant at All!! If you need to ask a question she's short with the answer and behind that she will slam the window shut with an attitude and on top of that they say we'll call you but you never gets a follow-up call. I had to keep calling in order to get my test results. Soooooo unprofessional??

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE from LINDA! (The front office woman with a raspy voice.) Linda needs customer service training and a better understanding that she is the front line for Dr. Versteeg's operations and that her UNPROFESSIONALISM can and will destroy Dr. Versteeg's current business and prevent new business from seeking him out. My son and I deserve and apology. We cannot, in good faith, refer Dr. Versteeg's office to other members of our community. We will also communicate to the Professionals who referred us to him. When I called, 10mins. before my appt., Linda called me 'unprofessional" and also said, "You got problems!" Yes, I was bothered because Linda, the 'Professional' did not take care of me, the 'Client', in a professional manner. There was no courtesy call informing a delay; we had other appointments scheduled that required the test results we were to be receiving. Linda was defensive and verbally combative even saying, "It's not my fault you made those appointments."

First session went well. I arrived at my next and waited for 30 minutes past my appointment time. I was informed it would be an additional 45-60 minute wait. I had to return to work, so I could not stay. I asked the receptionist to tell Dr Versteeg to call me so we could discuss scheduling, but he did not return my call, even after following up the next day. I then emailed Dr Versteeg with my concerns, and his responses were very short and did not address any of my concerns. I wasn't even sure if he read the emails! I found this experience very disheartening and wonder whether he had any real intention of accepting me as a patient. While Dr Versteeg seemed like a competent therapist in our session, his communication afterwards was severely lacking. I couldn't continue working with him as I could not trust that I would be treated with respect.

Dr. Versteeg, is genuinely interested in guiding you toward better mental health. He let's you know that it is all on you and that he only guides and gives you tools to cope. He has been extremely helpful to me and my family. Thank you, Kimio Young

He helped me find the tools to change my life. In my 30s was diagnosed with ADHD, was ready at that point to quit on life. I couldn't accomplish any goals or complete ideas. Now, I'm much healthier and happier and making strides in a completely new life.

In my 50's, and through extensive testing, I was diagnosed with a severe form of ADD, and at a very high percentile. I asked Dr Vertseeg to help me formulate new patterns of behavior, so that I wasn't constantly distracted. He helped, and continues to help me plan rules for day to day operating, and for maximizing my time. Dr. Versteeg is personable and approachable. He has a good sense of humor. When he has to say something difficult, he speaks kindly. I've had only 1 long wait.
