April was my therapist and I strongly advise all potential clients to stay away. I saw her through an online platform and she tried to charge me an additional rate for future sessions but the platform knew nothing about it. In addition, the rate was not for therapy but for 'money coaching' which is not the role of a therapist. She flat out told me she 'needed money too' and gave me a deadline to pay this extra $200 a month (which again, the platform did not consent to). I didn't feel comfortable with this (especially since she acknowledged it wasn't a flat increase for all of her clients, just me and one other client). Most importantly, when I said I didn't need it so I'd be moving on, she called me a 'loser' (yes, she used that word). I have NO idea why she still has a license but this isn't someone who should be a therapist. I have a hard time trusting mental health professionals after this experience.
