My First appointment I had to reschedule due to stomach flu. I was given a new appointment by the scheduler. When I arrived for that appointment I was told I couldn’t be seen because I didn’t have the right appointment- I needed a new patient appointment. I explained I was given this appointment as the next available appointment. I explained I took off work. I also explained I needed a diagnostic mammogram because of pain I’m having and need a doctor to prescribe it. Could they just see me for that. I couldn’t help that my other doctor was reassigned by the hospital and had to get a new doctor. The answer was no. If this is the type of service one gets before ever seeing this practitioner there’s not much hope for a good patient relationship. I asked if they would let her know the scheduling mix up wasn’t mine. I don’t know if they did. I begged to be seen for just the mammogram referral and would reschedule the new patient appointment & was told no. I said I would wait they said no.

NP Barr always makes you feel comfortable, and answers all of your questions in a way you can understand it. She is really intelligent and makes you feel relatable. You never feel rushed and she gives you all the time you need during your appointment. I would not want to see any other provider.
