For about 3 years now I have seen Anya McBrayer as my primary care provider. During appointments she is professional and takes time to answer questions. However, for anyone with chronic conditions, she does not seem to be able to manage ongoing care needs. There is a consistent problem at her office reviewing communications and receiving medications in a timely manner. Multiple times I have sent refill requests through the UNC My Chart app. These messages are sometimes not read for several days, or no one puts in the prescription or even contacts me about it until the pharmacist follows up with the office. The result is that I regularly do not receive my medications on time and go several days a month without my prescriptions. No one follows up with me or expresses any concerns for the impact on my health. I find it disturbing that Anya McBrayer is not taking this seriously and have decided to seek a new provider.

By far the best PA I could have asked for. Quickly and correctly diagnosed all my issues, and spent time learning about me and my history. Not looking forward to being sick again, but when I am I know where I'll go. Strongly recommended if you're looking for a PA or doctor.

I had a great experience with PA Anya McBrayer. I was able to schedule a urgent appt on the same day, and she was very efficient getting me scheduled with exams and with a specialist on the next day. Great bedside manners, listened and cared for my needs.
