When you think of therapists, you think of someone who will listen to your story and empathizes with what you've gone through. No, this isn't the case for this person. Throughout our several sessions, he haven't listened to a single thing to what I said and the trauma that I've experience. Rather, 90% of our sessions was him talking about his trauma and his problems. I felt that our roles has been reversed. When I tried to take back our session to revert it back to me, the client, he gaslighted me and said that "social workers don't help me because I am the least problematic." I've been a victim of abuse. For him to say that my problems aren't valid, is very unprofessional. Not only that, in one of our session, he didn't showed up at all. No calls, no emails, he didn't bother to care enough about his patients to listen or attend their session. I highly wouldn't recommend this person as their therapist to anyone.
