Just like the other reviews said! My back has been going out, off-and-on for almost 9 years (since a car wreck at 9 months pregnant that caused me to go into labor and delivery). It’s getting worse as time goes on….even going numb. If I walk too long, it hurts. If I sit, it hurts. Last month, I couldn’t walk upright. I’ve been seeing a chiropractor but my doctor referred me to the Orthopedic Specialists, and I had the “pleasure” of seeing Mr. Palazzo. I told him nothing works—not the muscle relaxers, not the steroid shots, the stretches, and the chiropractor visits aren’t stopping my back from going out or going numb. I want an MRI for actual imaging. An X-ray only shows so much. So guess what he suggests? DIFFERENT muscle relaxers and an anti inflammatory. He said “this is wear and tear probably from aging.” I’m 35, and this has been happening since I was 26. Normal people my age can walk upright and don’t have backs that go numb. Granted, I’m walking upright today…but I won’t be for long until the next episode. I felt rushed and unheard. I’m so angry that I had to wait for this appointment. But thankfully, after some push-back, he put in for an MRI. I *really* had to push for it.

I had to ask all the question, instead of him freely giving me his medical opinion, as for what I was there to discuss. He never mention my X-rays, that was taken, until I ask about then.
