Poor patient experience
Poor communication skills, patient education and lack of time spent in the appointments caused more anxiety, mistrust and frustration than it was worth. So wish experience had been like these other reviews.

Supportive, friendly, accepting, extremely knowledgeable. Excellent info and preparation for ostomy surgery. Based on comments from friends, we expected some challenges using ostomy supplies and equipment following my husband’s surgery. But Angie taught us so well, there have been no problems or complications.

Angela Savage is one of the most compassionate and professional healthcare providers I’ve ever had. I’ve been a wheelchair user for almost 30 years and have had more than my share of wounds. Ms. Savage has been instrumental in advising everybody from my caregivers to the wound surgeons in how best to facilitate healing. She doesn’t pretend to know all the answers, but she is more knowledgeable and experienced than anyone I know. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone.

My father had been in a rehab facility to recover from hip surgery. He had developed a stage 4 sacral wound and we were told it was a chronic non-healing wound. After bringing him back home, Angela began managing his wound care and now the wound is 99% healed. Angela cares about her patients and those who take care of them, definitely a team player.

Angela has treated my mother's complicated wound care needs for many years. She is outstanding in every way. She genuinely listens to your concerns and helps find solutions that are reasonable and manageable for her patients. She is so respectful and does a great job educating her patients and enabling them to partner with her in the management of their illness. She is an amazing advocate for her patients and is respected by other providers. I am so grateful for for Angela and would refer any friend or family member to her practice.

I met Angela about 15 years ago when my disabled father had a wound. She healed that wound-which was so deep and extensive, most practitioners would have said there was no hope. Over the years she has taken care of my mother and is still caring for my step-father. She has always been the only nurse that they cared to see. When my cat degloved her tail and we were told it would require amputation, Angela even fixed that. There is no one better at wound care than Angela! She is excellent at everything she does and if she isn't sure about something, she's not afraid to tell you she needs a consult elsewhere. I wouldn't trust my parents to anyone else!!!!

She really dug deep to get to the root of the problem instead of prescribing medication and getting me out of the door!
