She is kind, compassionate, skilled practitioner, she really listens to patients and develop a plan that works for the patient. Great specialist for migraine headaches, I’m happy that she is helping me.

I have suffered from migraines for decades! I tried all sorts of meds and holistic approaches going through the traditional Medical visits and referrals, but nothing seemed to work. I had headaches at least 25 days a month! Finally my PC referred me to the headache center, where I met Andrea. She did a thorough examination, ordered several sets of images according to my symptoms, and worked diligently to find the proper treatment. After trying a few different approaches, she hit it right on the nail when she combined preventive and abortive meds along with behavioral care, which decreased my migraines’ frequency and intensity. I still have chronic fatigue, and go through other migraine symptoms, but the debilitating pain that prevented me from functioning is no longer an issue. I cannot thank the heavens enough for finding Andrea and Dr Verhaak. Without their expertise, effort, and understanding of my personal situation, I wouldn’t feel this better today. I highly recommend them!

Andrea is very knowledgeable about headaches and the options to reduce the number and severity. My headaches are now under much better control thanks to Andrea.

Andrea is exceptionally knowledgeable and proactive in her treatment of patients with migraine. She has a wonderfully positive and optimistic demeanor, and is a very warm and genuinely caring person! She listens, and validates patient ideas, as well as thoroughly answers questions, often offering additional resources/therapies to consider. Andrea is a tremendous asset to her practice, and I am so fortunate to have found her!!!!!

When you ask questions about the rational behind the tests she prescribes. She really doesn't answer them. She books exams for her convenience and not hers. She is not a good listener and will keep you running. I waited 5 months for an appointment. I will not return to see her. If I could give her less than one star I would.

This is my second review of Andrea. I had an appointment with her yesterday. My wait time was under three minutes. She really listens to what you say. She asks questions and actually listens to your answers! Every time I leave, we have a plan for what is to happen until my next visit. I don't think I have ever been to a doctor who actually said, "John, I want you to feel better, and this is what we are going to do to make that happen...." She truly is excellent!!!

Andrea has always been very helpful from answering any questions I have, staying updated on options possible for treatments, and great with any treatment she provides.
