Andrea Mathews, LPC

Andrea has a very patient centered approach to therapy, and she is on her way to helping me change my life. She is such a compassionate and understanding therapist. She makes it easy to be open and vulnerable with her. Andrea has made a safe place for me to tackle the trauma that I have endured. She genuinely cares about me and takes real joy at my progress. I was able to speak freely and candidly with her right away. I feel I am finally getting the therapy I need on my journey to finding my most authentic self. I cannot recommend her highly enough. I love working with her!

She was not very helpful. She has some personal biases that kept coming out. She was also very arrogant.

I have worked with Andrea for a few years now. She has helped me to discover my more authentic self as I navigated through and from self deprecating behaviors. Working with Andrea or any therapist is never a quick fix but it is a journey of discovery. She helps me to keep focused and moving forward in my recovery.

I have been seeing Andrea for almost ten years now. I credit her for much of my ability to cope with the loss of my husband and rebuild my life into what I wanted (get through college, leave the country). I have seen many counselors in the past 20 years (due to moving) but none equal Andrea's insight, compassion, direction and professionalism. I highly recommend her to anyone.
