Andrea Dunn, PA

I love PA Andrea Dunn I have a very rare esophageal disease that took so long to get diagnosed. I have severe pain and swallowing issues along with issues with both knees and legs. Shes caring and compassionate as well as knowledgeable. Because it took so long to diagnose my disease other drs were trying to make me feel crazy but I knew something was very wrong. I started w PA Dunn after diagnosis and it was the best choice ever. If you need a Doctor that listens and understands shes amazing. I used to have what I call doctor PTSD but I dont any more with her.

Andrea has to work within the parameters set forth by Kaiser Permanente. I want to say that in response to some of the reviews she received. It has been my experience that she is, in fact, quite proficient in her work, and cares for patients a lot. She has been helping me through some addiction issues and makes me toe the line! She also makes sure I’m otherwise healthy etc. When I had weight loss surgery she knew KP wouldn’t pay, but she did all she could tests/labs within KP for pre/postop.

If you think you are receiving a preventative care benefit that is included in your insurance. Beware! This Dr. will ask you if you have any questions or concerns about your health and if you reply then expect a bill for the appointment. I was billed in full for the exam, which was minimal and a blood test she requested. I found it troubling at the time when I asked about Cancer Screenings, she replied none were necessary unless I lost weight. Wow - so much for preventative care.

I have just started with Dr Dunn but so far im beyond pleased. I was diagnosed with a rare painful disease and have not had the best time getting there. I had some awful experience with other drs and ERs and finally got into see DrDunn. I was nervous at best and so far shes amazing and her staff are as well. So friendly and on top of things. Im so glad shes my PCP i would definitely recommend her
