andre is genuinely just a mean person. never once did i see him smile. as someone in medical school, he epitomizes everything we’re taught not to do to create a welcoming environment. if you’re looking for someone warm and friendly, he’s not your guy

Told him I didn't want to see him as a provider anymore. I'm still taking the psych medicine he prescribed. He gave absolutely no follow-up and recommended no other providers.

This person was so inappropriate I got up and left.

Andre has helped me immensely, he is an excellent listener, knowledgeable and insightful - I am in a much, much better place now

At 1st, Andre comes off as knowledgeable, personable, like hes attentive to your needs. For those new to psychiatric treatment and/or who are mentally vulnerable and desperate for anyone to be accepting pts in this mental health crisis -like I was initially-sure he seems amazing. However, after two years under his treatment, & constantly feeling like something was wrong with ME, feeling like I’m never gonna be happy with my psychiatric care and my treatment so I need to change MY expectations….. it took our last appt after spending the ENTIRETY of our brief time together (15min every 2 months for someone with a complex and deeply traumatic hx) discussing HIS payment. Lol. That was my psychiatric TX for the next 2mo. He didn’t couldn’t care less if I was okay as long as he got paid, which btw is his office’s jobOnly upon switching providers did I realize it didn’t have to be like this!BESTIE, THERE ARE BETTER OPTIONS OUT THERE. don’t let this man convince u hes taking good care of u

My experience with Andre has been amazing. He has adjusted treatments by previous caregivers, educated me about not only my own very complex situation but those of my children, as well as of situations and symptoms nationally and globally relevant, and continually sought my input. He has gone very very far out of his way to adjust appointments, meeting me within a day if necessary; he is an empathic and aware man, and his unassuming air gives no indication of the stunning levels of his education and experience.

I was very pleased after my 1st tele-health visit with Mr. Philipp. He listened well, was not judgmental in any way and took his time explaining to me some options that are best for one's mental health in present and long term but individualizing that potential health care plan. I really appreciate the insight and education that I received today and although different, felt very comfortable with him right of the bat. I look forward to continuing to work with him in the future (and his secretary Esther I believe, is so sweet. Just a side note.
