Sessions went okay for a while but rarely went far below the surface of the issues involved. My impression took a nosedive when I accidentally missed a session en route to a family funeral and texted Amy in a follow up to apologize for missing the session and that I would of course pay the no-show fee. I received no response or check-in about my situation, only the fee in my bank account, and never heard from her again - no follow up or even just curiosity whether I was okay going through that experience. This callousness stood out so much in a time of need and my trust in this person vanished after that. I would not recommend this therapist if you want someone who is genuinely invested in your wellbeing.
