Zero stars. We did not return after the first visit. We were offended that Ms. Datla used our entire 50 minute couples counseling appointment, for which she of course charged us, just for completing myriad legal forms to protect herself from malpractice lawsuits. We went to Ms. Datla to get help with our grief & relationship. She seemed uninterested in our emotional needs, laser-focused instead on ensuring we signed off on a plethora of tedious, iron-clad legal forms to protect her. We are reasonable people and understand that health care providers need to protect themselves from malpractice suits in this overly-litigious society. However, having us foot the bill after dedicating the entire 50 minute session to he own overly cagey interests seems excessive and, well, selfish and cold. We had endured stress, the death of a family member, and we really needed help on the day of our appointment. Instead, we left Ms. Datla’s office feeling even worse than when we arrived. We felt used.
