Contacted Amy Cantley for marriage counselling. Stopped going because the sessions became one side favoring my husband. Husband told me and my/his daughter to move out of the home and within months Ms. Cantley's mother moved into my daughters room. Ms. Cantley became very involved with my soon to be ex-husband and to this day is maintaining a relationship.

Our whole family after a tragedy changed our lives forever Her profession has put her on a mission to absorb others tragedies and mental illness. I think you were to quick to judge after 1 appointment. Please don’t attempt to discourage others from seeking treatment from a woman who has dedicated her life to the betterment of others. I have never experienced anything like your describing. I wish you well my friend and I hope you have found the right person for your needs. Much love. God Bless

Amy Cantley is an amazing counselor. I was always treated professionally. The wait time did not bother me. She is a counselor, some patients require more time than others.

I went to Ms. Amy Cantley and paid her out of pocket, because she did not accept my insurance. I was in great need of help. I was not in a position at that time to realize how”unhealthy” she was, but as quite some time went by the red flags became abundant. There were many things that a professional counselor should not do. After I left her and shared this with two other professional therapists, they were shocked beyond belief!! I did attempt to share with the government office that oversees those professionals, possibly at my peril, due to more stress at my age that I had been subjected to already. I called a second time not too long after the first call. The same woman my call was directed to seemed? barely interested due to her tone and response to me. Due to all the”stress”that I was subjected to from the counselor, I thought why should I do this? I started praying for God to handle and with the current close down of her practice, I hope the right thing will be done.

Amy has spent the time needed with me that I grew from and didn't disregard my feelings as other therapists had done before. Amy holds me accountable and I trust her. I will continue to come here and will refer my family and everyone I know. APOM is the best help you can get in SC!

I truly believe my arrival at APOM was Heaven-sent! I had just concluded with a 2+ year custody battle and in the final order Amy Cantley was the counselor ordered by the Guardian Ad Litem. I believe emotionally I was completely overwhelmed and apprehensive about it at first, but within no time. My little 7 year old was back to her awesome self. and continues to thrive in a "Free to be me" environment. All to which would never have been possible without the team work from my little one and Amy.
