Dr. Amy Ahlfeld, PSY.D

I contacted this transphobic woman for therapy and was told she had no openings. I would have believed her except a cis gendered married friend of mine had also contacted her for therapy but she was offered an appointment. We compared notes and her response to me was quite different than to my friend.

I have been seeing Dr. Ahlfeld for over 6 years. I suffer from an anxiety disorder, and she has been a rock of wisdom and support in helping me navigate my ongoing symptoms in day-to-day living as well how to go about building self-confidence and cultivating relationships. She listens intently and retains all of the details I have shared with her in subsequent appointments. She provides different ways of thinking about my current situations that keep me open-minded to other possibilities where I can see a promising road ahead of me. The coping skills I have developed, and continue to build on from her expertise have enabled me to form a foundation to approach matters rationally. I would happily recommend Dr. Ahlfeld to anyone in search of therapy.
