Amina clinker is the only psychiatrist who ever was able to relate to me and help me. She helped me find therapy and was always empathetic and caring. My network sold her clinic and I can't see her anymore and I really wish I could!

Unprofessional
I just moved here from a state where medical marijuana is legal & there was a sign re she drug tests to prescribe anxiety medication. As soon as I told her I would test positive she started treating me like a criminal. You can’t just stop taking that type of drug - it can be deadly. She then lied in her notes in mychart.

I feel the opposite of almost all these reviews. Amina has been my psychiatrist for almost a year now and she’s been so caring and understanding of everything I’ve gone through. She also listens to my symptoms, feelings, and what’s been going on in my life before providing medication changes or suggestions. I genuinely feel she’s a great psychiatrist and will continue going to her.

Rude
Seems that I am not the only one who was treated rude. She could careless how I was. She literally told me that she's not there to care, only to prescribe medication. Following that up with, "I don't have enough time to care. I'm busy"

Absolutely not.
She will rush you and doesn't care about your well-being. Does not treat patients conditions properly. Your needs will probably not be listened to and if they are it's 50/50 she'll do anything to try to help you. Go to any other doctor.

I was not given proper care. She is rude and rushes you out the door. She doesn't seem knowledgeable about proper dosages. She made no changes after I told her I was given a new diagnoses from another provider. She asked ME questions about things she should know the answers to. I would absolutely NOT recommend her. Do yourself a favor and find someone better. It won't be difficult.

Very little concern for my actual wellbeing. She takes 30 seconds to fill the prescription and sends me on my way. At my last appointment she didn't even ask how I was doing.

PRO: Amina is friendly and easy to talk to. She makes decisions about medication changes WITH me and not FOR me. She trusts when I tell her how I have been feeling (even though my facial expressions and demeanor don’t necessarily match my words). CON: Amina’s knowledge about the differences in medications isn’t clearly evident. For example, she seemed on the fence about prescribing Zoloft or Prozac. It seemed she made those decisions with a coin flip.
