I highly recommend Dr. Weston from Guiding Balance. Dr. Weston is truly concerned about improving their patients well being. She has helped me overcome so much. My life and mental peace are both in a much better place since I started seeing her.

Dr. Weston sat with me for hours, and really listened to me. She made me feel very comfortable, and cared about. Hands down the best psychiatrist I have met with.

When I first stated seeing her it was great. She really helped me out with getting on the right medications. She became progressively flighty, unresponsive, unprofessional, missing and cancelling appointments. Every single month I worried about getting my prescriptions because she would forgot or just not fill them. Then all of a sudden she stopped answering all emails/calls/texts said she was “sick” and to reach out after the holidays for next appointment. Come January I made MANY attempts to reach her with no avail. I ran out of my medications and it was a horrible experience. Never heard from her again. Very bizarre! I hope she is okay but I wonder what happened.

Amanda disappeared on my 5 year old son while prescribing him with a heavy medication. She did not answer any emails/calls or texts from me when I tried to contact her regarding concerns that I had. In the midst of the pandemic she abandoned her patients due to “technical difficulties “ and did not show up for our scheduled appointment and did not provide any other medical professionals names to ensure her patients were taken care of. It has now taken me four months to find another doctor to help manage my sons medication. During the time that Amanda treated my son, her outlook on his condition was always puzzling and hard to understand, using analogies that made no sense, like he was “drowning in mud”. She is completely unprofessional and I would not recommend her to anyone. In my opinion one star is even too much!

STAY CLEAR!!! She was seeing my 18 year old and made my daughter remind her when her meds needed to be filled EVERY month. Then went on vacation, never put the prescription in leaving us with no meds, didn’t have anyone to fill in for her and has now ghosted us and will not return my phone calls. This was not the first time we were without meds for days!!! (This time months)!! You also can’t get in touch with her half the week (with no one filling in for her)!!! She had the nerve to tell me “my daughter is not her only patient” when I showed concern that she had not put her prescription in!!! Very unreliable and unstable!! Someone should look into her practice!!! SCARY!!!

Saw Amanda for almost 2 years and was overall really happy, despite her being unorganized or late to appointments at times. About 2-3 months ago she "fell off the face of the Earth" and just stopped responding to emails/calls/texts. My medication ran out and it took me almost a month to get an appointment and see a new doctor. I hope that she is okay, but I am sad/hurt that I finally opened up and trusted someone just to have this happen with zero explanation or referral to a new doctor. Luckily my condition is not serious and I was able to compensate. I feel sorry for her patients that heavily relied on her and are in more fragile situations. Ultimately her unreliability is why I decided to move on.

1 star.....After 3 years of treating my daughter and having a wonderful experience with her she disappeared into the abyss basically. She was a no show for her last tele health appointment which was 3 weeks ago. Has not returned my calls. There is an outgoing message with her voice saying she is having “technical difficulties and to go to an urgent care, er, or to dash if you need a prescription “ I have a 17 year old who loved her , counted on her help and formed a trusted relationship through the many challenges she has faced. I received a call finally after 3 weeks from someone claiming to be a receptionist which she never had saying that she will no longer be continuing with existing patients and only be taking on new patients. This makes no sense. It’s usually the other way around. She turned her back on her patients and their families with no explanation. This is beyond unprofessional. I would not recommend her!

I would give her zero stars if I could. I was a patient of Ms. Westons for almost two years. At first I loved her and really thought things were going to turn around for the better for me. Then she began to leave me hanging with medications. She wouldn't send them to the pharmacy because she was "busy" with other patients who needed more attention/more severe. I am on a controlled substance so I was always nervous about going into withdrawal and possibly having a seizure. As of February 2021, she has had the same voice recording for a month and a half that she is having "technical difficulties" and can not make appointments or write scripts. She did not leave a referring physician either.

She’s lied multiple times first about prescribing benzodiazepines to get you in the door then about her fee to get you in the door then when it’s time to bill it’s double what she said way more than any doctor I’ve heard of and she isn’t a doctor. Then she lied about the dosage she was going to prescribe until you get to the pharmacy and find out it’s not what she said. Then as I expressed I’m growing tired of her lies she suggests to put me on an amphetime when she knows I have a sleep disorder, she did these things intentionally to essentially mentally torture me for calling her out about the lies. GO AND SEE A REAL DOCTOR!!! I would never bring my child to her and it’s scary she treats children...not even worthy of one star rating

I can not say enough good things about Ms. Weston......she is amazing in so many ways. She has done so much for my son, and our family. She is the best thing that has happened to us. I trust her without any reservations.
