I have never experienced an office visit of this magnitude. I was questioned multiple times why I needed specific care, and then reminded twice the cost of care. Even though, I advised I do not care, because this is my health. To have to literally go back and forth with a healthcare provider is beyond stressful. I came for care, and trusted that I would receive said care. I did not expect to be made to feel as if my concerns are not valid. Maybe listen to your patient, and review the medical chart prior to the visit so you are aware of their medical history.

Don't do tele-health with her she does not listen care or bother to check your medical history.

I have been seeing NP Dickey for primary care for about 3 years now. I have found her to be professional, sensitive, knowledgeable and thorough! I never feel like she is rushing through my appointment. She was extremely caring and helpful as I went through a terrible personal tragedy. I would highly recommend her to anyone in search of a primary care provider in the Gainesville area!

I have found Amanda Dickey to be exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable on a wide range of health topics. Since I was a new patient over a year ago, she provided a complete set of baseline tests. She appropriately recommended a range of options for the symptoms I reported, as well as the correct combination of medications, dietary and life style changes. The INOVA office in Gainesville is supported by a very professional, responsive staff. They also provide access to useful online support systems for tracking appointments and test results. I have appointments with Dr. Dickey twice per year to meet my health care requirements. I have recommended her to a number of potential clients in the Gainesville / Haymarket area.

I wasted $100 on my appointment to find out she wouldn't help. Would not recommend to anyone.
