I presented with my sick son. I stated I believed my son had cyanide poisoning due to eating a peach pit. Alyssa assumed he had overdosed on an opiate. She performed a blood test and a urine screen. All tests came back negative. Alyssa was still incredibly accusatory, stating we must have dropped a narcotic. Again, I reminded her we have no narcotics in the home. She stated it could be an untestable substance. Alyssa did NOT listen and didn't show compassion. She was also wrong in her assumption
