I was scheduled with her as a new patient because the doctor I selected was unavailable. Our first encounter was okay and I figured I could just remain her patient. However, that changed after my second appointment for a specific issue. My blood pressure was high and she refused to treat me. I partially understand her reasoning but I felt dismissed and like my total health didn't matter. She blamed my issues on my birth control but did not even ask what my exact symptoms were and how long it had be happening. I have already made an appointment to switch to the doctor I originally wanted to see.

She is excellent. She takes the time to explain everything to you. She listens to your concerns. She is very caring & knowledgeable.

She was not very welcoming. Although she did explain things to me she was not gentle when doing my pap smear. I felt rushed. I asked about my weight and she could not give me any information as she stated "I don't know. They put your weight in wrong the last time." I would not recommend this service.

I have always had wonderful experiences with Alycia. Although I’m a nurse as well, i appreciate her in depth explanations. One can never assume the knowledge base of another even in healthcare. I’ve never felt rushed or judged. I have felt the most comfortable with her than I have with any other healthcare provider. I’d highly recommend her services. I originally had Dr Barsoum whom I also love but when I switched to Alycia by way of scheduling, she never missed a beat

I felt like she talked to me like I was 15 years old and at my first gynecologist appointment. She re-explained how to take my birth control, that I have been on for over 5 years, taking up a good portion of my appointment on something that was totally unnecessary. She seemed nice enough, but I did not appreciate being spoken to like I had no idea of what was going on with my body.
