Almira Hadzimesic, NP

Had an appointment with her was first thing in the morning, 8am. Wasn't even in the building until 10 after. Doesn't seem interested in listening to her patient and the office staff isn't great either

I saw NP Hadzimesic instead of my regular doctor when I had to change my appt at the last minute. She was very thorough in explaining my test results and I felt comfortable with her recommendations. She is straightforward without being pushy or mean. Very good experience with her.

I have to second the concerns about this NP's need to rush patients who come for care. I had knee issues and came in for a visit, where I asked about getting an x-ray and was told to try ibuprofen and alternative forms of exercise that take pressure off the knee. It wasn't until I came in a month later with continued knee problems that she finally put an order for x-rays in. I also asked about possibly having bloodwork done during my first visit, but was told this wasn't necessary given my "young age." I would've switched NP's if I could but the South Bend Clinic doesn't allow this.

She has awful bedside manner. The appointments with her are always rushed and she will cut you off to try and guess what you are going to say. I never felt like she was really listening to what I said. She put me on medications that my heart doctor said I shouldn’t be on.

I went in to establish a primary care provider because we are we needed one that will be working with a another doctor. After blood test results were recieved a strong reccomendation to use a medication that cannot be used during pregancy was given. This recomendation was given over the phone by another party and no other alternatives were given. Seemed like the blood test results were reviewed without reading whole case file which is actually pretty short.

Truly outstanding practitioner. She's very smart, compassionate and thorough. She's an excellent diagnostician even for complicated medical issues. She also knowledgeable in managing medications, both acute and chronic. I was in the healthcare field for many years and have seen a lot of practitioners. She's one of the best.

If you want a incorrect diagnosis she's your person. In a rush and quick to make a diagnosis. I'm sure she is fine if you have a cold or flu but see your physician if anything more involved.
