Rushed appointments, is not thorough.
Appointments are rushed, get you in and out. Not a thorough scan of areas. Talks way too much. I would not recommend. Not a physician but an assistant.

I saw Dr. Sorenson for mild acne, and she was very rude about it. She acted impressed by how "amazing" my skin looked, and it was very obvious how fake she was. She was NOT taking my concerns seriously, and I could tell by the tone in her voice that she did not understand why I felt I needed to see her. I felt like she thought I was being vain, but that's not it at all. I have a mental health disorder where I pick at my skin. I sometimes even using sharp objects like scissors to dig at what my brain perceives as "imperfections." It's compulsive and I can't control it, but I know what my triggers are. Acne and clogged, oily pores is one of them. I can't even wear makeup because of it. After seeing her twice I want a dermatologist who actually cares about my concerns and mental health. Not one who's going to judge me.

She is absolutely what today's health care should be! Very kind and caring and thorough. She is the exact opposite of my last dermatologist. I have had the rest and Allyson is the Best!
