She was the worst nurse I’ve seen in at least ten years. She didn’t have any answers to anything. I basically ended up diagnosing myself even though she actually smirked at me and told me I was wrong. The tests came back and showed I was actually right, and she didn’t even apologize. She seemed fumbling and unsure and tentative, all things that are NOT helpful to a patient who’s very ill and seeking help. I’m really disappointed because Scripps is usually incredible and competent. With some intense training, it’s possible she could be better, but right now she’s not the nurse to see unless you’re ready to REALLY advocate for yourself, or you have the simplest of situations to diagnose (like a UTI or strep).
