I have had a number of therapists through the years and all though I have liked them all, Dr. Allison has been by far my favorite. So yes, I highly recommend her to anyone who is interested with getting help from a professional. I was suffering and in a particularly bad place psychologically (depression and feelings of guilt) when I first came to her for help. Truth is I was undergoing something of an existential crisis. I was questioning everything about myself and the choices I had made in my life. Allison was there for me in a therapeutic way like no other therapist ever has been. She is the most caring and patient therapist I have ever known. Somehow she always knows how to give me just what I need. I can not stress this salient point enough. What happens is a kind of alchemy which seems almost magical.
