I worked with Dr. Bates for several years, during which time her profound expertise, empathy and natural flexibility resulted in the most successful and useful counseling I have ever known. Having been in treatment for most of my adult life, she stands substantially above all other in the value of productive and even "enjoyable" counseling I have ever received. To me, she is a flat-out "jewel in the crown" of professionals in her field. She is THE very best!!!
