It is sad and unfortunate the Dr. Block continues to practice within the Little Silver NJ area. She performed some therapy for my now ex-wife. She was sadly suffering from a combination of alcoholism and anti-anxiety medication. Dr. Block immediately diagnosed her with 'severe depression' and referred her to a Long Branch Psychiatrist who prescribed her strong antidepressants. She was ineffectual and is no longer in synch with modern therapies. Lastly, I know of 2 other unhappy clients.

Dr. Block is a fantastic counselor. I saw her for two years and can honestly say she changed my outlook on life and the ways in which I manage stress. I would recommend her in a heartbeat.
