Alina really takes the time to let you tell your story and understand so she can help with what YOU need. With other counselors, it seems that they start to 'categorize' you into different buckets and approaches you with more or less a canned approach for each issue. She takes notes to help her recall your situation throughout your care, which adds to the holistic feel of her style. Alina has a Christian background and can add that into your care. She doesn't push you in that direction, just if you proactively state you would like it like I did. I believe she only does virtual visits at this time, which works great for me during the work day. I also love her online patient portal. It not only keeps track of your appointments but it shows Payment History so it's easy to get provide receipts for FSA reimbursement. I have seen different counselors over the years and she is by far the best I have ever been under the care of. She was recommended to me by a friend and I have already recommended her to several friends.
