I did not have a good experience with her... I did not feel that she listened to me or cared about me. I had a long labor and 4 hours of pushing, and every push, she'd tell me I'm not pushing right, or I just "had to get mad" and "give it all I've got", or just give me a disappointed sigh. The prenatal visits weren't the greatest, especially at end... I felt shamed if I ate any fruits because they were simple carbs and when I asked about better options, she repeatedly gave vague answers...

I would recommend Alicia Witt wholeheartedly. I have, and others shared the same opinion on her warmth and her ability to calm all mother's nerves (and family!) during this special time. If you want to experience birth how it should be I highly recommend the relief a birthing pool brought. I lived three hours away and Alicia offered midwife services where there were none. She went above and beyond for me and mine.
