"Dr. P is not a person you want in a custody battle with a court documented abusive ex-spouse. The Dr. refused to read any of the court documentation I provided, but read all the paperwork that was provided by the opposition, and made a decision based on two interviews each. She believed my ex, who lied multiple times, in contrast to court evidence and history. My children are now in the wrong hands, who is still doing what should not be done them and myself. My ex has brought us in front of a judge over seventeen times in seven years. I asked if Dr. P read certain documents I sent her not listed in her report, and her response was that she wasn't sure but she thought she did. She would have known if she read a divorce decree describing abuse."

I have seen Dr. Pellegrin for court-appointed comprehensive custody evaluations on two separate occasions separated by several years. While she is competent, and knows what she is doing, often times she appears to punt on her responsibilities, and professional ethics. There is a significant lack of professionalism with the manner in which she runs her office (her husband is her secretary), and it is run like a small family-owned business, rather than a professional services company, upon which lawyers, courts, judges, and the lives of children and families depend. Dr. P does what she wants to do, when she wants to do it - there is a lack of professional courtesy and an absence of a sense of professional obligation to clients. Phone calls are not returned in timely fashion, and appointments are not kept, or followed up on when she needs to cancel or reschedule. I would not recommend. Dr. P could be an awesome professional. She chooses not to be.

Dr. Pellegrin may take a while to complete evals, but this is for good reason. Her evaluation was beyond phenomenal. She took her time to understand and fully comprehend my very complicated background. Without the time and effort that she put in to evaluating me, I would never have received a fair evaluation. Her evaluation was detrimental to my case and to the safety of my child. She was willing to work with time restraints and was thoughtful enough to address psychological definitions persuant to the DSM-5. If provided adequate information about the client she is assessing, I have absolutely no doubt she will provide a fair and appropriate evaluation. One of the most wonderful things about . Pellegrin is her expansive knowledge on trauma and how it affects the developing brain. The plethora of exquisite information she provided in her evaluation will provide extensive support in my case. I would not have been able to do this without her incredible knowledge and expertise in the field

Completely frustrated with Dr. Pellegrin. We sent our son to her for an evaluation and all we got was a useless 20 page report. We never even met her, the clinician did all the testing. There was no explanation of the report and they would not help us with his plan of treatment. They charged us $1800, & no one will use it, they all require their own testing. They also didn't file with Insurance causing us many headaches. THere must be more money is diagnosing than treating.

If I could give no stars in answer to : Likelihood of recommending Dr. Pellegrin to family and friends I would. Her evaluation was full of mistakes and incomplete. It was a waste of time and a lot of money. We need to start over with someone else.

If you love your children do Not ever let this women near them. She is the most unethical and immoral person I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. If you are force to use her by the courts demand that it be video taped for your and your child's protection. Another mother did this and Dr. Pellegrin's evaluation was thrown out of court. She will even go to the court and lie on the stand without any regard for what is right. Her report was full of mistakes including the fact that she di
