1986 after my first born child, diagnosed with thyrotoxicosis but was never told, or treated for. 2002. RAI treatment for thyroiditis. Put on synthetic hormone to present time with decades of ongoing level fluctuations, weight problems, diagnosed years ago with a skin condition due to being fed a drug that induced reaction. Give it another shot to try getting help I desperately need and needed for decades only to be, again, unheard. I don't get how Ms. Novak got so many good reviews on another site. Maybe I caught her on a bad day? But as far as I'm concerned, she barely answered anything I had concerns about regarding my health. I also brought up to her, that years ago my parathyroid was to the point of non functioning as per my past doctor. She looked at me like a deer in headlights and said, "your parathyroid"? Like she never heard of that. What did I get from her? The norm...TSH, T3 and T4 blood work. No full panel. Nothing. Didn't care at all. . 0 bedside manor. Poor attitude

My recent tests indicated my lymph nodes were enlarged around my thyriod. In reviewing the results, Alicia Novak stated that she wanted to monitor everything. I had to physically request a biopsy which came back malignant (cancer). Two months later I had a total thyroidectomy under another doctors care. Had I not sought out a second opinion, it might have ended in worse circumstances.
