Dr. Alicia Hegie is an excellent and compassionate professional, she helped me recover at St. Luke's from my assault and was enormously helpful explaining and helping me understand my brain injury and the emotions I was feeling.

Horrible person (Alicia Faith Hegie/Plasterer). Yelled, belittled, jumped up in sessions to slam hands on desk out of frustration. Was told multiple times that I didn't want to be there. Would argue with me. Was told tough love works. I still have nightmares about these sessions. She was my last outlet and source for help and she made me give up and lose trust in people. I didn't have the heart or courage to speak out about it then. I hope no one else went through this or ever will.
