Alice Greenwood

Alice is the best! She is incredibly compassionate and has such great bedside manner. Even if I’m feeling lousy, she always makes me feel a bit better.

Fantastic, fantastic, fantastic. The best, most caring, most thorough physician (nurse) I've ever had. I would be her patient today if I didn't now live so far away, and I'll try to be her patient again if I ever live or work closer. She really values her patients and makes sure they understand their treatment and their options, and she genuinely *listens*. A patient is fortunate to be in her care. A star.

Alice is a wonderful FNP who is attentive and kind throughout my routine visits. She tries to get to know you, your habits, your concerns and questions, without rushing you or any judgement. I am happy she's my PCP and would highly recommend to anyone! My experience with VHC has been great, scheduling is simple through their online platform and they can easily refer to a specialist if needed.

Was a patient for 2+ years and basically I was treated as a cash cow for VHC (I have very good insurance). I was constantly being sent to specialists who upon reviewing my test results basically said "So? What are you doing here?" It seems Ms. Greenwood can't interpret test results whereas a doctor can read them and understand that no further action is needed. Oh but wait - if no further action is needed then she can't refer you to a specialist at VHC (VIrginia Hospital Center). Also she is condescending and dismissive.

I cannot believe how many people have piled on with Amazing reviews since I was wrote. What a set up. Don't believe the recent hype about her. The VHC primary care operation is very different than the hospital itself. I am now being strong armed by Dr. Walsh,who never talked with me about the lack of care from his family nurse. it's not about the life of a patient I went to him with a patient when he was a practicing doctor there building the business. Strong armed as in told how much I will pay which is twice as much as before. My bill is small but was sent to collections. These primary care places are small businesses. I was told by one of the messengers who called me that because Alice is never available, I could go to Urgent Care. There are some near me that are great and can be used as your full-time doctors. I stand by the info I gave here and to a stranger named Jonathan who asked how I liked Alice. I was honest with him regardless of his motives. I

I found Alice to be professional, courteous, and thorough. I switched to the Virginia Physician Group after four years of unsatisfactory encounters with the a previous physician elsewhere. I have been extremely pleased with my experiences during each of my visits with Alice - whether well visits or sick visits. I always feel life she's listening and is not rushing out of the room to her next visit. I also truly appreciate her patience when my little toddler is in toe bouncing about the room.

Ms. Greenwood doesn't feel it necessary to speak directly with a patient. After going through two people with messages and comments back and forth I gave up and will go somewhere else. If you want pills for something/anything, go to Alice. In my opinion she is also what's wrong with this countries medical system, in that she wants to schedule unnecessary office visits just to bill the insurance companies and the patient.

Alice is kind and attentive - and answered many questions I had when I went in for a regular check-up appointment. I have recommended her to many of my friends.

She I beholden to the insurance companies, and he no desire to ease suffering. Went in to some her for tremendous shoulder pain and loss of feeling in tworking fingers. She never touched me but prescribed painkillers and an MRI. Cigna, my insurance declined it but said all the doctor needed to an appeal. Her office said Alice doesn't have time for paperwork. She prescribed more painkillers even though I told have I don't like painkillers. Now I have lost feeling in four fingers.

Amazing nurse practitioner. She is very attentive, knowledgable and caring. I highly recommend her.
