Alexis Alfaro, OT

I met Alexis through HSS or Hospital for Special Surgery. The most prestigious hospital in the world for her profession. I would give you a stat but she is pretty special. I rehabbed with her for a few months with three fractured fingers. I WOULD HIGHLY recommend Alexis if you can get an appointment. She is very booked but she is at the top of her game and I would not be able to type this review if she didn't get my fingers back in shape.

I suffered a scaphoid fracture in early October and didn’t end up getting surgery on it until February. Until I started workIng with Alexis I had little confidence that I was going to be able to recover fully from this injury due to the pain and stiffness I was dealing with post operation. As a collegiate athlete who has dealt with many injuries and has had many interactions with a number Physical Therapists Alexis is by far the best I have ever had. From the beginning I knew I was in good hands as she was so easy to talk to and one of the nicest and most caring people I have ever met. I truly felt like she cared about me and my journey and as sessions went on I felt like we became even closer. She instilled confidence in me that I was going to get better and without her I doubt I would be where I am right now with my wrist. She gave me great exercises to do and made me a great plan for me to get better. She is truly the best and anyone would be blessed to have her on their team!!!
