Alex Bertelsen did an excellent job during my visits to the U of Washington Orthopedic Clinic for shoulder surgery. One thing stands out in particular. Alex found a barely detectable swollen lymph node at the corner of my jaw during a pre-surgical physical before the second procedure. I am guessing my own physician had missed this during a previous exam. While the growth on my parotid gland turned out to be benign it could have been worse. Kudos to Alex for his attention to detail!
