Aleisha Chaffin, LPC

Aleisha Chaffin is one of the best counselors I've seen. I started seeing her in 2017 when I was going through a really hard time, and now with the help of her practice my mindset has done a complete 180. The use of cognitive behavioral therapy has really turned my life around.

Mrs. Chaffin is an amazing counselor. We have been going to her for several years, and I can see a HUGE difference in my children, especially when I look back and see where they were to where they are now. She teaches them in a way that they can learn, she supports them and identifies their needs and works in those areas to help them improve. She's not afraid to get down to their level and help them learn how to handle anything life throws at them. She pushes their boundaries to help them understand what they can and can't handle. It's not always easy, but she works hard at each and every appt to see them succeed. I would highly recommend her.

Don’t go see her! My daughter said she got frustrated with her a lot and made mad faces at my daughter. She didn’t do anything but play games with her the entire time. She didn’t counsel her on anything. I missed an appt once and got charged a $60 missed appt fee. And she red flagged my daughter’s chart because of missing 2 appts and wouldn’t allow me to make her an appt at a time when my daughter really needed to see someone....she was having a hard time. Do not ever go see her!

I would never send my child to see Aleisha Chaffin. She is supposed to be a "Counselor", not a person who makes children feel bad and tells them they need to quit taking one parents side over another. She is a HORRIBLE communicator, especially when there is a split family involved. She is just like most all Counselors, she's just in it for the money. She doesn't even " counsel". She sits around and plays games with most of the children. PLEASE THINK TWICE BEFORE YOU SEND YOUR CHILD TO THIS LADY!
