He presents himself as an Urgent Care Dr. at Quick Care Med Urgent Care in SW Ocala Fl. Never before have I been kicked out of the office for dissagreeing with a Dr. in less than 5 miniutes. I was seeing him because there was a hiccup in my script for pain killers following back surgery. I was left hi and dri for the weekend becaise they could not fill my 10mg script as it is on backdorder all over towm and my calls to my provider went unanswered on Friday. It turns out he is not a doctor at all but a NP. All the staff refers to him as Dr. Allen. When greeted I said hello Dr. and he did not correct me. I was under the impression I was paying and seeing a Dr. I needed pain meds from surgery. He offered only a mucle relaxer and an injection for inflamation. Neither of which I needed or were medically necessary. Home health sees me daily.
