Dr. Adelle Burnsed-Geffen, PHD

I've been working for Dr. Burnsed-Geffen for 35 years. Two negative reviews out of the thousands and thousands of patients she has seen over the last 35 years is actually a very good rating! You must remember when reading negative reviews that sometimes it's a case of just 'not a good fit.' Other times the client's perception is skewed because of their thought process. My advise is to always give someone the benefit of the doubt. Give the professional a chance to see if it's a good fit for you. She's a good person and an awesome clinician, otherwise I wouldn't still be here.

I've been seeing Dr Burnsed-Geffen for several years now and she has helped me tremendously. She has helped me to understand why my brain works a certain way. I suffered year's of abuse as a child and then more trauma in to adulthood. I have a very long way to go, and may never get over the trauma, but, I'm so thankful to God for her help.

My teenage son was upfront and honest about his recent drug use but that was the only thing this doctor wanted to focus on. She completely discounted the possibility that his anxiety and depression may have led to the drug use in the first place. We will certainly find someone else cognizant of his situation and more willing to help our son.

Ms. Burnsed mistook my general questions as trying to challenge her credentials. She did not offer any guidance on how to read the test results. She did offer me to educate myself. She reminds me of a highly educated person that gets offended at the thought that she would have to explain something, "you should already know." Glad she doesn't have to help me. I am sure she would be a great help to those who share her culture.
