Adella helped my daughter Alison go through a very difficult journey after being diagnosed with TTP undergoing daily plasma pheresis treatments and weekly infusions of Rituximab - this was a very scary time, especially at first when Alison's platelet counts weren't responding the way we needed them to. Adella encouraged Alison by sharing her own story and reminding her to stay positive.
The compassion she showed really meant a lot, always willing to take the extra time to explain everything!
