Dr. Bauer had sclera lenses made for me. I had 3 cornea transplants by Dr. Verdier I had so much stigmatism for years, Dr. Verdier worked and worked to straighten it out. One day after about 20 years as he did at every visit, how do feel. Fine except for the stigmatism. He said he was going to have me in contacts. Along comes Dr. Bauer and they talked, she had a sclera lens made came in a couple of weeks later she put it in my eye and amazingly for the first time in 20+ years I was seeing clearer then I had in my whole life. I can’t wait to see her again. It probably is time for some improvement.

Dr Bauer is a terrific practitioner. Patient and understanding. And one of her specialties is fitting scleral contact lenses. Her expertise made that process so much easier.

Dr. Bauer is the ONLY reason I am able to see clearly, because she is an excellent fitter of scleral lenses. I suffer from corneal ectasia due to LASIK and scleral lenses are my only option for seeing clearly. She got the fit right on the first try - my last doctor took 6 months!
I'm sad to report that I just discovered Dr. Bauer is no longer at Verdier Eye Center, which is devastating, because there are no other scleral lens fitters in this area. I will have to drive hours to see someone. Hopefully my eyes will allow me to do that.

Dr. Bauer and the entire Verdier staff were very helpful, patient and accommodating. Immediately when I walked in I was kindly greeted after which I received a very thorough eye exam and explanation which was concluded with solutions that have been life changing.
I have been a patient of Dr. Bauer for about a year and highly recommend her and the entire Verdier team!!

She fitted me with scleral contact lenses. She spent time explaining things thoroughly and answering all my questions. She was patient as I was learning to place the lenses myself
