efficient, thorough and pleasant
Dr. Bhashyam initially seemed to have a quiet, serious personality, very calm and reassuring and pleasant. At our second appointment he was a little bit cheekier but still appropriate and professional, but it was nice to see that spark. However, I will say that he explained what he thought was going on, he explained my non-surgical and surgical options, all the potential benefits and what I probably would not see as a result of treatment. He answered all my questions thoroughly, and I never felt like I was asking a dumb question. I trust his judgment and am pleased to have him as my surgeon.

Cold, dismissive, and rude
Saw Dr. Bhashyam after a hand injury that left me bruised, swollen, and unable to move my fingers for days. He had me waiting in the exam room for close to an hour before I finally got fed up enough to find out what was going on only to be met with him sitting directly outside the door chilling on a computer. His resident came in and examined me and gave me advice and left to discuss with Dr. Bhashyam. Dr. B comes in and basically asks why I'm even there and tells me I'll be fine. He was completely dismissive a did not even acknowledge the pain I was in. I left that visit crying out of frustration because I had never been so out down my a doctor before for simply seeking treatment. He spent all of 2 minutes in the room with me. I'm really bewildered as to where all these good reviews are coming from.

I went to see Dr. Bhashyam after a bad thumb injury. I wasn't sure if I wanted to get surgery or not but felt educated to make the best decision for me after consulting Dr. Bhashyam. He is knowledgeable and I have already recommended him to a couple of my friends and family members with orthopedic needs. Great doctor!

Dr. Bhashyam helped me recently with severe bone and muscle pain in the tail bone lower back. It appeared unexpectedly while I was on travel and I called him midday out of desperation. He was able to calm me down and diagnose the problem over the phone and suggested some over the counter medication to take to alleviate the pain. I felt much better that evening, he followed up with me after I returned to make sure it wasn't a more serious issue. I'll definitely be going to him into the foreseeable future, and highly recommend him to everyone.

Dr. Bhashyam was great! I saw him for a knee injury I got while falling on a run. I unfortunately decided to keep running after the fall and Dr. Bhashyam was able to give me some practical advise and steps to help with the pain.

I would highly recommend Dr. Bhashyam to my family and friends. I saw him for a persistent ankle injury and from the moment I walked into his office, I knew I was in good hands. The appointment didn't feel rushed and he spent time acknowledging the issue fully. He made sure I knew what all of my options were for treatment and left me feeling prepared to make an educated decision. He had come into the appointment well-prepared having studied my x-rays in advance, which really made me feel taken care of. He answered all of my questions and had an awesome way of explaining complex terms to me in a way that I could understand. It was easy to schedule a follow up appointment and the wait time was short. I normally don't write long reviews but I'm just really glad that Dr. Bhashyam was my doctor and I would highly recommend him to anyone for their orthopedic needs.

I visited Dr. Bhashyam for an Ankle injury and I was impressed by his attention to my issue. He took the time to listen and examine me to diagnose the issue. I was afraid of some of the treatments I read about online, but he took the time to explain the risks and benefits of each one. We were able to come together to make a joint decision and I couldn’t be happier. He’s wise beyond his years and am very impressed by his knowledge and bedside manner. I’ll continue to follow with him and highly recommend him. In fact, I’ve sent family already to him!

What an amazing physician!! I can’t say enough about my positive experience with Dr. Bhashyam. A real gem of a doctor and human being. He took the time to understand my issue related to my hand issue and was so knowledgeable about diagnosing my problem. He had an incredible ability to explain in detail, and yet, in simple language for me to understand, both my issue and prognosis. I was seen on time and given ample time and attention. In my lifetime of physician and specialist visits, he has been the most professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Dr. Bhashyam and would refer all my family and friends to him without a doubt.

Dr. Bhashyam has a deplorable bedside manner and is literally unable to communicate with his patients. I saw him for a foot issue. He immediately advocated non-surgical treatment with braces “as we discussed.” We never discussed braces. When I inquired what type of braces he was referring to, he attempted to locate something on the computer. He couldn’t find it. He then said (I kid you not), “You know, braces.” This kid is absolutely worthless.
